Daltile is launching a new set of glazed porcelain tiles, the Scripter collection, based on the look of Northern European limestone. The collection includes the manufacturer’s StepWise Technology, providing enhanced slip-resistance and making the tiles suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.

The tiles are available in four taupe-based neutral designs—Hero, Mentor, Rebel, and Oracle—in a choice of three popular formats: 24-by-24, 12-by-12, and an 8-inch hexagon. An additional design, Quest, is available as an 8-inch hexagon decorative accent, and features an encaustic pattern in cobalt blue and white.

“The hexagon has been popular for centuries and recently became very prominent in design again with the recent resurgence of Scandinavian and midcentury modern design,” says Laura Grilli, director of product design for Dal-Tile Corp. “The hex offers dynamism and freshness. It is great for creating unique decorative combinations and is one of the easiest shapes to install in out-of-the-ordinary ways, bringing an artisan touch to a space.” daltile.com
