GEOLUXE has followed up its U.S. debut last year with the addition of two new colors, Erebus & Aphrodite, and a new Honed Finish for its Pyrolithic Stone surfaces. The Thailand-based manufacturer debuted its new colors and finishes at KBIS 2018, one year after Pyrolithic Stone won the Best in Show award at Best of KBIS 2017.

The new Honed Finish is soft and smooth to the touch, and offers a more subtle visual effect than GEOLUXE’s existing polished finish. Erebus and Aphrodite, introduced as a contrasting pair, are GEOLUXE’s darkest black and lightest white Pyrolithic Stone offerings respectively. Erebus emulates black Belgian marble with white veins, while Aphrodite takes its inspiration from Italian marble with subtle grey veins on a white background.

GEOLUXE’s Pyrolithic Stone surface is constructed from mineral-based materials using the manufacturer’s GeoMimicry technology, which mimics the long-term geological processes that create marble. The resulting stone is more durable and easier to maintain than marble, and its natural venting, heat and frost resistance, and scratch, spill and stain resistance allow it to withstand indoor and outdoor applications alike. geoluxe.com
