The Terraçade Ceramic Façade System by Australian building materials manufacturer Brickworks is now available for the first time in the U.S. market, distributed through Brickworks’ U.S.-based Glen-Gery brand.

The exterior/interior cladding system incorporates a series of ceramic tiles—available in two standard sizes, approximately 2 and 4 feet in length by 1 foot wide—mounted on a stud wall assembly, as well as an array of accessories and system components for use in design flexibility and installation. The tiles are made from highly durable natural clay, which is noncombustible, designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, and features a low-carbon, energy-efficient finish that requires no maintenance.

The system’s 17 standard finishes are sorted into four categories: Smooth, available in six finishes; Sand-Blasted, available in three finishes; Watermark, a wood-look in two finishes; and Glazed, a high-gloss tile in six finishes. All tiles are pre-finished and colorfast, engineered not to fade or change color over time. Custom colors and finishes are available in orders of over 15,000 linear feet of tile. Modular architectural mesh components, known as “Baguettes,” are also available in the six Smooth finishes.

“Today’s architects and designers are not only looking for advanced building solutions, but also stylish products that will make a statement,” said Mark Ellenor, president, Brickworks North America. “Driven by innovation, the new Terraçade system provides fire resistance, low-maintenance upkeep, and design versatility to meet diverse architectural and design styles.”

The products include a building lifetime warranty for colorfastness, a 100-year warranty for product performance, and a 20-year warranty for system performance. glengery.com
