Garage door manufacturer Haas Door introduced three bi-directional wood grain finish options for steel garage doors: English oak, mahogany, and ash. The bi-directional, stucco embossed finishes offer an authentic look without the maintenance that real wood requires, the company says.

“These three new bi-directional wood grain color options provide a vertical wood grain pattern on the panel and stile, with a horizontal pattern on the rails,” says Jeffrey Nofziger, Haas Door president. “This offers the genuine look of a real wood door but with the strength of steel.”

These finishes join Haas Door’s bi-directional American walnut offering, and are available for 2000, 700, and 600 series doors. The new finishes are built with 26-gauge galvanized steel, according to the company, while pre-painted wood grain patterns are baked on for added durability. All four steel wood grain finishes come with a 10-year warranty.
