Hastings Tile & Bath is extending its URBAN collection with a new series, the URBAN Wash, designed specifically to furnish laundry spaces as “transition” rooms between the indoors and outdoors. The collection’s new products include cabinets, wardrobes, countertops with sinks, accessories, and customizable storage bins.

An URBAN Wash arrangement can be customized to fit the dimensions of a given laundry or transition room, and arranged horizontally or vertically depending on customer preference. Functional series elements include removable drawers and storage containers, shelves and slide-out racks, a pull-out ironing board, metal shoe racks, and wheeled containers for accessible storage. Customers have a choice of floor- or wall-mount cabinets with a customized back panel or optional LED-integrated panel.

Washers and dryers can be fit into the cabinets, and either exposed or installed behind a cabinet door. Integrated or drop-in style ceramic sinks are also available, as well as drop-in solid surface sinks with a removable washboard-style laundry board.

“If the past few months have shown us anything, it’s that people have realized the importance of setting up a dedicated space—not only for laundry as we knew it, but a multifunctional room that acts as a transition from the outside to the inside. We’ve had requests for better storage for masks and additional cleaning supplies, a counter that can double as a folding station and a place to unpack groceries, and of course a convenient area to throw clothing right into the wash if necessary,” says Bob Gifford, director of business development for Hastings.

The URBAN Wash pieces are available in a wide array of finishes, including a glossy or matte lacquer finish in 53 colors; a matte lacquered wood grain finish in 53 colors; 53 soft-touch colors; four metal-look, hand-painted lacquer finishes; eight solid surface countertops in a textured or non-textured finish; 11 HPL finishes; 22 wood finishes with 3D textures; HPL countertops in 11 stone or wood-like finishes; and Fenix countertop materials in nine colors. hastingstilebath.com
