New Flooring App Offers Virtual Visualization

Designers and homeowners can vet their floors’ looks before laying the boards

1 MIN READ

Wood-flooring retailer Lumber Liquidators’ new app lets users browse 340 flooring options and check what the product would look like when installed in their own applications. Users can upload an image of their room and, using the app’s Visualizer feature, replace its existing floor with one from the company’s inventory to confirm that they like the look before making a purchase. The new images featuring the application-specific flooring options can be uploaded to social media platforms and shared with others involved in the design process. Floor Finder is available to iPhone and iPad users for free from the Apple App store.
