Sherwin-Williams is rolling out a new nationwide online ordering feature for professional customers, the company announced this week. Pros will be able to order paint and supplies from their local store at anytime, pay invoices, review purchase history, and more through their Sherwin-Williams PRO accounts online or through the PRO App on their smartphone.
Customers who have a PRO account with their local Sherwin-Williams store can establish a profile and password with their 9-digit PRO account number on mySW.com, the portal on the Sherwin-Williams website that connects to their PRO account. While many customers have already been using mySW.com to review their purchase history, access pricing, pay invoices, now they will also be able to order and re-order paint and supplies and receive status updates on orders through the account.
“The launch of the Sherwin-Williams e-commerce platform is an important milestone in our ongoing efforts to provide professionals with best-in-class products and services,” said Pam Gillikin, e-business senior director at Sherwin-Williams in a Monday news release. “We’re excited to offer customers a fast and efficient way to order our paint and supplies online using their computer, tablet or mobile phone.”
Online ordering is currently available in select markets, but will launch nationwide in mid-November. The Sherwin-Williams PRO app, available on iPhone and Android, will be updated to include online ordering beginning in early 2018.
