Rather than eat up valuable lot space with a four-car garage, Leesburg, Va., builder Chip Gruver recently discovered the virtues of the Harding Steel hydraulic lift. “You can lower two cars into the basement, making a four-car garage out of a two-car garage,” he explains. “It’s really good for a tight site.”
In the bathroom, his clients like to pamper themselves with Kohler’s DTV-II shower system, which provides options for music, lighting, chromatherapy, water, and steam. Wall-mounted toilets from Geberit and opaque Kalwall skylights also make his and his crew’s list of favorites.
