Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), a third-party certification body and standards provider across a range of industries, has launched the SCS Certified Products Database, an online directory of green building products, at www.scscertified.com/ecoproducts/products.
The database provides an easy-to-use tool for architects, builders, specifiers, and others to search for SCS-certified green building products and materials by manufacturer, product category or sub-category, product type, brand name, SCS certification program, or certification number. Users also can search by conformance program or standard.
Version 2.0 is already in progress and will include product images with direct links to corresponding website profiles and a variety of other features, SCS says.
