Linear Growth Linear, the home-technology subsidiary of Nortek, acquired Niles Audio during the summer. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Niles, founded in 1978, offers more than 500 products that cover every aspect of whole-house audio distribution and audio/video integration. According to Nortek, Niles’ product lines and dealer networks complement those of Elan, Panamax, Omni-Mount, Xantech, M&S Systems, and SpeakerCraft—all of which are Linear home-tech companies.
