Home automation company Fibaro has launched a new line of smart home products that are compatible with Apple’s HomeKit automation system, introducing a water leak and flood sensor, window and door sensor, and motion sensor.

The Fibaro Flood Sensor is the first flood sensor to be introduced to Apple’s HomeKit system. The Flood Sensor, which is equipped with gold telescopic probes, can detect water as soon as it appears, even on uneven surfaces. If water is present, and LED indicator and sound alarm will trigger to alert homeowners of flooding or leakage on their smartphone through the Apple Home app. The Flood Sensor also has a temperature sensor, allowing homeowners to check unheated areas, such as the basement or garage, for winter problems such as burst pipes.

The battery-powered and eye-shaped Motion Sensor measures movement, temperature, and light throughout the home to detect changes anywhere it is placed. It can be affixed to the wall, ceiling, or any other surface and is equipped with tamper protection, triggering an alarm if there is an unauthorized attempt to move the sensor. The Door/Window Sensor is a contact and temperature sensor installed using adhesives to any door or window in the home. The battery operated device alerts homeowners of locked or unlocked doors or tampering through the system’s smartphone app. The device comes in seven colors to match existing window decor.

Paired with Fibaro’s new iOS 10 app, the three devices can be controlled remotely through voice commands using Siri.

Both the Fibaro Flood Sensor and Motion Sensor are priced at $69.99 each and the Door and Window Sensor is $59.99. All three products are expected to be available by the end of this year.
