Bosch Thermotechnology introduced a new programmable thermostat that helps homeowners save energy and money. The Bosch Connected Control (BCC100) is a full-color, 5-inch, touch-screen thermostat that is Wi-Fi connected and is compatible with most HVAC systems.

The programmable thermostat gives homeowners the option to create their own temperature presets and schedule. The system will also automatically turn heating and cooling functions on and off to maintain temperature while homeowners are out of the house. The thermostat features the ability to display local weather forecasts so users can set the home temperature accordingly.

Homeowners can monitor the thermostat and control it remotely from their smartphone with a free app. Users can adjust the schedule on the go, or set it to “vacation mode” to save energy while they are away. The app can manage up to four individual thermostats.

The thermostat is available now for $169.
