Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc.’s Cooling & Heating Division has added the SVZ 1:1 Ducted Air Handler to its M-Series product lineup.

The SVZ is designed for one-to-one configuration with the SUZ Universal Outdoor Unit. It is energy efficient, easy to install, and flexible for use in a variety of space applications. Both the SVZ and SUZ are smaller than their counterparts, but still perform at the same level of efficiency.

“We are excited to round out our already comprehensive M-Series lineup with this addition,” said Brinnon Williams, director of residential product development. “The reduced physical sizes provide more installation flexibility. The smaller capacities are ideal for performance construction applications where you still might like to have access to designing around ductwork. Although smaller and now more affordable, the SVZ and SUZ still retain the effectiveness of Mitsubishi Electric products.”

The air handler performs at a target SEER of 16-18. It is available in 12,000 and 18,000 Btu/h models, and features upflow and horizontal configuration options. Compatible electric heat kits are also available. mitsubishicomfort.com
