Grill manufacturer Char-Broil has expanded into the outdoor kitchen space with nine new, affordable kitchen appliance and convenience modules. The Modular Outdoor Kitchen components feature stainless-steel appliance construction, granite countertops, and leveling casters and adjustable legs for placement on uneven ground.
“We are dedicated to innovation in the outdoor cooking space and aim to deliver luxurious, high-quality products at an accessible price so anyone can enjoy the satisfaction of outdoor entertaining,” says Char-Broil Gas Grills Product Manager Robert Hawkins. “Our research revealed a segment of people interested in outdoor kitchens, but who were deterred by price point or channel availability. We have removed those barriers, creating a highly customizable product that will enhance the outdoor cooking experience and take outdoor entertaining to the next level.”
The Modular Outdoor Kitchen components, distributed exclusively through Lowe’s, may be mixed and matched depending on buyer preference. The Entertainment Module ($1,199) adds on prep space, a faucet and sink, cutting board insert, insulated cooler, trash can, and electrical outlet. The Granite Bar Top ($449) and Corner Module ($449) provide additional entertaining space and design possibilities. charbroil.com
