Magnetic Appeal

Bonita Grey Induction Cooktop by Fagor

1 MIN READ

If you haven’t been preaching the gospel of induction cooktops to your clients, you might want to start. No special pans required—just magnetic ones (it’s easy to test with a fridge magnet). Induction is fast, safe, responsive, and doesn’t waste heat. Fagor offers a 30-inch model in Bonita Grey (Pantone 402C), to coordinate with light-colored counters. The cooktop uses scratch- and stain-resistant Schott Ceran glass that’s also designed to stay cool and clean easily, the company says. Its eight-point electrical safety system includes an overflow technology that prevents spills from baking onto the cooktop’s surface as well as an anti-overheating system. Self-adjusting burners use a magnetic field to determine the size of the cookware being used and heat only that space to avoid excessive energy use. Fagor. www.fagoramerica.com
