The WaveTub from Sonoma Cast Stone is pre-cast from colored concrete with a distinct contoured interior that will fit two bathers in a relaxing, ergonomic position. To overcome the chilly qualities of concrete, the maker has designed the tub with a KeepWarm feature. Heating elements are cast into the concrete to keep the tub and water at a constant temperature. The temperature can be set on high for use as a soaking tub.
Slot drains replace a traditional drain assembly, thus eliminating visible hardware. The drains are closed by a pneumatic switch. The WaveTub’s AutoFill thermostatic control mixing valve automatically fills the tub to the desired level, at the desired time and temperature. The control panel is remotely mounted. Two integrated tub-filler slots, one at each end of the tub, also help pre-warm the seat backs. Measuring 73 inches long, 43 inches wide, and 25 inches high, the WaveTub comes in any of the 40 concrete colors offered by the maker.
