The new Premier 78 Alu Mira advanced triple pane window by Intus, suitable for Passive Houses, has a frame composed of pine and high-density composite foam, a combination that creates a thermal break in the frame. Triple gasket weather-stripping creates air tightness, and the combined window assembly boasts an R-value of R-7. Warm edge spacers increase glass surface temperature and reduce condensation, with hybrid spacers that insulate pane edges to reduce heat transfer. Aluminum frames also are available.
