Jeld-Wen is targeting its four-legged clientele by adding a separate, secure-closing pet panel to its Vinyl Sliding Patio Door as a way for pets to easily move between indoor and outdoor spaces. The panel features a proprietary locking system and a clear flap that uses a magnetic pull to stay closed against strong winds while remaining flexible enough to allow pets to pass through. Available in medium, large, and extra-large sizes, the integrated unit is Energy-Star-qualified and comes in white and desert sand colors. Plus, a weather-sealed version can be added to the company’s steel or fiberglass pre-hung entry door unit, which comes in primed, ready-to-paint, or pre-painted options.
