The HD•Safety earplugs, HD•Safety™ Earplugs + Earphones, and HD•15 electronic earplugs.

Hearing protection manufacturer Etymotic has introduced three new lines of high-definition earplugs and earphones specially designed to protect building and construction professionals. All three product lines are designed to reduce the risk of noise-induced hearing loss and tinnitus for workers in environments with high noise levels.

The HD•Safety earplugs are designed to reduce sound levels, but preserve sound clarity instead of muffling the sound. These earplugs are available in two sizes. The HD•15 electronic earplugs offer instantaneous protection from sudden or sustained loud sounds, but enable natural hearing when sound levels are safe.

Etymotic’s HD•Safety™ Earplugs + Earphones allow workers to avoid the hearing risk associated with raising music volume to be heard over machine noise or other external noise. The earphones are designed to reduce external sound and offer safe, clear audio playback regardless of the volume level.
