CertainTeed Machine Works has introduced a new duct board grooving machine, the Glass Master SG-420, designed to fabricate fiberglass spiral ducts with greater accuracy, and up to 50 times faster than hand-cutting techniques.
The SG-420 features four drive rollers, a ¾ horsepower motor, and precision-ground and hardened tool blades that fabricate clean grooves, contours, and duct dimensions in duct board. It may be adapted to groove 1, 1 ½ and 2-inch duct boards, with a measuring tab for accurate groove spacing on the square duct tool holders and quick-release clamps for repositioning.
Standard machine features include a foot-actuated operation switch, four swivel casters and a powder coat finish. certainteed.com
