Select corded and cordless DEWALT tools are now approved for use with the manufacturer’s new LANYARD READY solutions, which provide users with attachment points and solutions for tethering tools to rigid structures on jobsites. These attachment solutions are currently available in two ways: either pre-installed on a new tool or installed on select existing cordless DEWALT drills and impact drivers at a DEWALT Service Center.
Current kitted LANYARD READY cordless tools include the 20V MAX Brushless Hammer Drill/Impact Driver Combo Kit. The hammer drill and impact driver include integrated lanyard attachments, plus a securing strap and multi-stage carabineer that connects the battery to the tool.
DEWALT will continue to expand the range of tools approved for use with the LANYARD READY system over time. The system is approved for use with a maximum lanyard length of two meters. dewalt.com
