Each tool is disassembled, inspected, cleaned, rebuilt with new parts, tested, calibrated to exact specifications and made ready for another tour of duty. Tools are placed in a new case and shipped direct to the buyer from the Bosch National Reconditioning Center in Walnut Ridge, Ark., a facility that processes more than 300,000 tools annually and boasts a 98 percent material recycling level, including products scrapped in process.
