Squirrels Take Out Power in Canadian Home

It wasn’t until their electric switches and lights stopped working that homeowners Juanita Douglas and Fred Tiffin discovered that squirrels had taken up residence in their attic. The furry critters had gnawed at the wiring and the trusses so much that the home became a fire hazard and the roof was in danger of collapsing. In addition, the insulation became contaminated with urine and fecal matter, according to this Winnipeg Sun article.
